brush your tongue, seriously. use your tootbrush to take the coating off your tongue. it really works. also, floss every day. a lot of that odor comes from decaying food in between the teeth and from the coating on the tongue.

brush your teeth, you don’t have to use a mouthwash. and be sure you don’t have any rotten tooth because it’s a common cause. If you do have one then go to the dentist and ask them to pull it out…but there are also times when they can’t do it depending on how long its been there…

a combination of using dental floss, brushing your teeth and using mouthwash is a step in the right direction. for more extreme cases though, some dentists will suggest using hydrogen peroxide. if you look at the back of a container of hydrogen peroxide it says

Active Ingredient:
hydrogen peroxide 3%… first aid antiseptic/ORAL DEBRIDING AGENT

hydrogen peroxide can be used like mouthwash. if you like then you can mix it with water 50/50 or you can use it full strength. it doesnt taste very good, but it kills bactiria in your mouth that causes bad breath.

best of luck

Well, Listerine will kill just about nything in your mouth..and that’s what bad breath is…germs, usually on your tongue.
Try Listerine and brushing all of ur tongue…as far back as possible w/ out gagging. Get any white/whatever color off of your tongue until it looks natural. It might sting a bit w/ stronger toothpaste’s if you have one.

Furthermore, and this might totally not concern u, but my friend who had alwayz had horrible breath went to a dentist recently, and was told he had gingivitus….apparently that can cause very bad breath. If u do find your gums to be swollen, dark red (not a light pink), and are bleeding, you need to see a dentist for gingivitus.

You should be brushing after every meal, roughly three times per day for at least two minutes at a time. You should be using floss after every meal, and use mouthwash and a tongue scraper at least twice each day. Pay attention to what kinds of foods that you are eating. Also, do you have problems with dry mouth? Dry mouth and post nasal drip can cause bad breath, so keep hydrated. Have regular dental checkups (roughly once every six months) to ensure that you do not have cavities or gum disease. Also, you should go to the doctor if it is a concern for you, since underlying health conditions like diabetes can cause bad breath.

You might want to avoid gum and mints that contain sugar because sugar actually FEEDS the bad breath-causing bacteria!

You can also try natural cures such as baking soda, green cardamom, parsley/mint garnishes, brussel sprouts, and green tea. These help deodorize the halitosis.

I can truly understand your plight about your bad breath condition. Bad breath is often a sign of bacteria build up in your mouth. Bacteria, of course, can come from the air pollution, the food that you eat, and even your saliva. Usually, a good vigorous toothbrush, as well as rinsing with mouthwash, can usually solve the problem.

In your case whereby after using mouthwash and brushing are ineffective, I suspect you are suffering from Chronic Bad Breath a.k.a Halitosis. Chronic bad breath sucks. There just is no other adjective for it. It feels horrible, and worse, it affects the way other people – especially the opposite sex – react towards you. Chronic bad breath is one of the leading turn offs for guys, and it is equally regarded as one of the most common turn offs for women.

One extremely effective halitosis treatment to stop bad breath is to use a tongue scraper to scrape off those disgusting bad-breath-causing bacteria at the back of your tongue. The tongue scraper forces the bacteria out of the tiny crevices of the tongue and pushes them until you spit it out. You really need to get rid of these bacteria if you want to get rid of bad breath.

There are various alternative bad breath remedies you can try, which are not only very powerful, but also fast acting, and very friendly on the pocket. You can try these bad breath remedies when you have tried all options and nothing has worked. Hopefully, these can do the trick, and you will end up not only with a fresher breath but a happier and more confident self.

You can get rid of bad breath permanently. There is bacteria that lives on your tongue and also causes tonsil stones. Which are white or yellow looking things that stink horribly and sit in small pockets of your tonsils. You probably have chronic halitosis like I did. It is no fun and I know what you are going through. Go read this free ebook which is what I did and it tells you what really causes bad breath and exactly how to get rid of it. Like the “bad breath guru” stated sugar makes things worse and commercial toothpaste & mouthwash believe it or not. The ebook explains everything. http://www.yourbadbreathremedy.com

Not Just Brushing, Flossing is as Important!
Although we gargle with that all new mouthwash we just bought and some of us may be even brush twice, there is still a tinge of smell in our breath! Well, then maybe it’s time to floss it down! To know what exactly floss is and what is the right way of flossing? See http://www.medimanage.com/my-looks/articles/not-just-brushing-flossing-is-as-important.aspx
