What is causing this…………………………Bad Breath………….?

in causes of bad breath

I am too shy to bother asking this kind of question on my main account, because plus, I’m a top contributor and have people who looks up to me. I can’t go asking a question like this and shame myself. Sorry!

Anyways………………………….what is causing this bad breath that comes straight from the back of my throat?

I brush my teeth, I exercise alot, and I watch what I eat.

Even after I just brushed my teeth, the bad breath is still there because it comes straight from the back of my throat.

I constanly chew chewing gum, but doesn’t help after a little while.

Whats causing this? What can I do about it?
Sometimes, when I put food in my mouth to eat or I drink something, the bad breath sits inside of my mouth strong.
When I brush my teeth, I always brush my tongue, gums, and the roof of my mouth. The bad breath is still there, coming from the back of my throat.

try scraping your tongue because that’s where all the bacteria is. If that still doesn’t fix your halitosis (very bad breath) then ask your dentist or doctor if there is anything they can do about the bad smelling bacteria in your mouth.

well sometimes if you eat sun flower seeds or some food gets stuck in the back of your throat right by your tongue there is these little holes the food gets trapped into but just dont hurt your self trying to get to it . maybe try gargling on warm water and baking soda or maybe some mouth wash will get it out

Bad breath can be caused by eating smelly things like onion and garlic, but once you brush your teeth and mouth rinse they go away.
The other type of bad breath, that hangs around no matter what you do, is solely caused by bacteria. Bacteria live in your mouth (and entire body) all the time, and it’s pretty healthy to have them there. However it’s once they start taking over, and produce an acidic waste from living in your mouth, that’s when you get constant bad breath. Your brushing routine sounds pretty healthy. Make sure you’re using a fluoride toothpaste. Floss between teeth once or twice a day to get any food scraps out and then rinse with a strong mouth wash. These steps will make sure that even the tiny food scraps that you can’t see will be removed, since that’s what bacteria feed off. This routine will probably reduce your bad breath problems!
Try drinking lots of water and chewing gum (preferably sugar free) whenever you’re worried about it.
Good luck

You are really trying to get rid of bad breath. Good for you. First, the major cause of all bad breath is the bacteria on the back of the tongue, especially the back one-third. Look in the mirror at your tongue for some white stuff. This must be cleaned off to cure bad breath. After you brush and clean your tongue, look again. If the white stuff is still there then you will continue to have bad breath. I suggest you not use a toothbrush because your toothbrush is designed to clean your teeth, not your tongue. I use OraBrush tongue cleaner because it is designed to clean your tongue. I have used it for over 6 months with great success. Here is their website, if you are interested.
