You should take the child to a dentist.

Brush his teeth yourself, floss and supervise from then on. If there are no oral cavities problems, start thinking about taking him to get his digestive system checked. There are hundreds of undiagnosed children who suffer from digestive problems like GERD or ulcers who have bad breath especially in the morning. And have his pediatrician check his nose, an undiagnosed sinus infection can also cause really bad breath.

the child or anyone could have a stomach disorder thats causing the acid reflux to stay and build up. that causes bad breath. Another thing is sinus infections cause bad breath you can smell the infection coming out of the mouth.
Sounds like your child needs a trip to the Dr. hurry up!
kids get ulcers in their stomach and need medications and sinus infections could lead to anoid infections and chronic ear aches.
