Question by Lee: My boyfriend has bad breath how do I tell him?
I’ve been dating this guy for almost a year now. but he always has bad breath. He has a broken jaw (half broken) I’ve seen when he talks and I think that’s what has it, but the oder is terrible!! and he gets really close to my face. I’m afraid to kiss him…… how do I tell him without embarrasing him?

he doesn’t brush his teeth.. ever :(

Food particles lodges between the teeth cause decay, breath odor or Halitosis. It is important to floss between the teeth to promote healthy gums, removes debris that could cause tooth decay and offensive breath odor. The use of mouthwash is not sufficient. If you have a natural teeth you need to brush and floss it regularly.

Brush with a baking soda paste, and then rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash. It should keep your breath fresh for a couple hrs at least!

Question by El-Tino: How would the dentist respond to me if I tell him I have halitosis?
I’ve been to the dentist a billion times, yet I can never gather enough confidence to tell him. I know that my halitosis is simply a bacteria problem, because he inspected my gums and they were perfectly fine. But I wanna know if it’s worth telling him. Is he just gonna tell me to continues brushing, or give me some sort of treatment? I know they carry oxyfresh, but should I just buy oxyfresh myself without telling him?
I’m so confused…

ok i have constant bad breath but i dont know if it’s because of my mouth or my stomach. It depends on the type of food or drink, if it’s something sugary then it’s probably letting bacteria grow in your mouth that cause an unpleasant smell, so just brushing, flossing, maybe some mouth wash should work. Other foods, and drinks like: garlic, onions, and beer, are absorbed into the blood and are vaporised in the lungs, and for those there is nothing that can be done other than masking the smell with gum or something.
