Question by p4in: What are some medical condition that causes bad breath? 10 points?
I have a bad breath but i have a very good oral hygiene

Could it be because of a medical condition, lets say ulcer

what could be a cure for some medical conditions that causes bad breath?

Best answer:

Answer by MM
See … 10 points will not help you … Only you you can help yourself … Anyway, I feel for you. So I will give my thoughts.

Bad breath can be caused by various reasons: bad dental hygiene, gum disease (Which has nothing to do with how well you brush only), dry mouth, liver problems, nasal drips …. and so on. Since you seem to be in otherwise healthy condition, I would rule out some of the rare occasions when the issue can be caused by kidney and other conditions.

Thinking having good hygiene can be different than what a doctor would want for example. If you are brushing and flossing may be from some time, but prior to that you did not, then the plaque build up will cause persistent breadth issue. Only your periodontist can confirm that. If your regular dentist has not been able to resolve the issue, get a referral for the periodontist.

If gum disease is not the problem, cavities can collect the food. Sometimes, you may not be able to see the cavities and what you think as small cavity can be big inside. Only X-Ray’s can reveal these issues.

If you are not already, you should see a dentist every six months to get your teeth cleaned. If you are smoking you would need to stop. Drink lots of water. That helped me a lot. Oh, the other thing is to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner regularly. Don’t over do it as tongue is real tender and can irritate easily.

Bad breadth problem in general is indicative of other systemic issues. It can be anything from mouth itself to other issues. Thus you should consult a doctor. My issue got cleared when I went to periodontist. Now I enjoy very smell free breath which in itself has increased my confidence.

Good luck,

Question by luivalor2005: What causes anxiety or pannic attacks, I mean not only stress, but some illnes or medical conditions?
I suffer reactive hypoglycemia, I lost about 20% of my hearing in my right ear and I was diagnosed with Chron’s decease and later told that was a severe infection in the final portion of the small intestine called Ilium, I’m 31 years old I have no prior symptoms of anxiety and I was searching and found that this may cause or trigger the attacks, has anyone heard about seredyn to end the attacks.

Best answer:

Answer by psych08
Hey there. Sounds like you have alot going on right now, and I hope that you can find some relief soon. As you mentioned in your question, medical issues and illnesses CAN cause anxiety and panic attacks, and so can some genetic and social factors. It sounds like you could benefit from some counseling, to give you some support as you manage your illnesses, but also to check in with your anxiety symptoms. I have heard of the seredyn drug before, but not as much as I have heard about Ativan, Zoloft, Seroquel, or Wellbutrin for anxiety symptoms and panic attacks. Defintely talk with your doctor, and perhaps a counselor, just to get some extra support and some answers to your question.

I need to find at least 4 or 5 common oral health problems that pediatric dentist see in children, what are the symptoms or signs and how can you prevent it.
Please! & Thanks in advance

Best answer:

Answer by Brandi
Cavities are the most common disease in children. You can prevent them by avoiding sugar and flossing and brushing teeth at least twice daily.
Here are a few other, though I don’t think they are very common:
Eruption cyst. Soft bulge over an erupting tooth. You cannot really prevent them and they resolve on there own.
Primary herpetic gingivostomatitis caused by primary herpes. Child would have painful ulcers and fever. It can be avoided by the child not being exposed to herpes.
Aggressive periodontitis. 1st molars and incisors will show bone loss and possible mobility. This is hard to prevent because it is typically caused by a defective gene rather than poor oral care.

Answer by shutuppauface
Unless you have just eaten onions or curry, bad breath doesn’t come from your stomach, it comes from your mouth, teeth and sinuses.
You may have a bad tooth or a sinus infection or thrush.
Google “halitosis” and start there.

Good luck,
