Question by ag: Do Tonsil Stones Really Cause Bad Breath?
Please help! Today I just discovered that I have Tonsil Stones for sure. I’ve been reading on the internet and apparently they’ve been known to cause bad breath in 75% of patients. I don’t have bad breath now and I never have. Will I eventually get it and how do I prevent bad breath due to tonsil stones from happening?? Thanks!

i’ve tried drinking 2 litres of water but i only did that for a few days how long do i have to keep drinking for or are there any better remedies.

btw i’m not allowed gum at school so that’s not an option and i don’t want to use those fresh breath sprays as you get addicted.

Because you are smelling it already thru your nasal passage and have become acustom to it. You need to dig in thoes peridontal pockets and get out the gunk and floss and brush. So much comes from inpacted food and not flossing!

Question by : Really bad breathing problem?
Every night and usually during the day. I feel as though I am on my death bed. I cannot breath and am constantly coughing. But I can run for extended periods of time and exercise without being tired or loosing my breath. I am confused. It only is really bad when I am laying down or trying to relax. . .I don’t know. I just need a little of clarification. Help.

you have few possibilities:
1-being allergic to something around you (does it happen only in your house), if so , look for unusual things that might be causing this.
2- having asthma, which only reacts when you are relaxed (i have the same condition)
3- weather conditions changing (also an allergic reaction)
do you smoke?
Better have a visit to a doctor to check you up just in case.

because i hear most mouthwashes have alchol and sugar which just make the breath problem worse?? and what toothpaste is the best? thanks alot. i’m in a state of depression over my bad breath. social life is down the drain and i’m thinkin about quittin my job until i can get this resolved but i cant because its my only job. why do people get halitosis..i mean why me??!! its so frustrating.please help!!

the reason that they say eat yogurt is because the bacteria that cause bad breath living within your GI tract can be tamed by the bacteria (good bacteria) in yogurt. It doesn’t hurt to try it. funny enough i have noticed my breath getting (not so good!) and realized i didn’t eat nearly as much yogurt as i used to. as long as you have got the basics down. brushing of course, and flossing to clear the bacteria from between your teeth. trying yogurt won’t hurt. Also, try tongue cleaners, they are a bit more gentle than scrubbing your tongue and they also are made especially to clean your tongue. I really hope this helps. :)

Question by Bex J: Panic attacks when public speaking, REALLY NEED HELP! NOW!?
Well it all started when i did an english speach about a year ago, it was just a bit of fun, we had to talk about something we felt strongly about. Some people did jokey speeches like on homework and school but i did mine on poverty. I have always been fine with speaking like doing drama performances at school and stuff but i am quite a shy person around new people but not too bad. So i started my speech infront of the class and my REALLY scary and strict english teacher and it started fine then i got this stupid feeling into my head that people were laughing at me or thought i was weird so i started reading it faster, then i couldnt breathe and started shaking like a leaf! i was having a panic attack and it was awful. afterwards i just sat down shaking for the rest of the lesson. Ever since people have teased me about it, not really in a nasty way but kind of joking but it still got to me, now whenever i have to read anything out in class it happens again and its like ive ran a long distance and am really out of breath when i talk. I now have to do a drama performance tomorrow in english infront of the same people as before and i am so scared the same thing is going to happen again… i have been to a hypnotherepist for 2 sessions and that has helped a bit but i am still just nervous that the same thing is going to happen again…

Sorry for the essay! but does anyone know of anything that can help me? like herbal remedies or just youtube videos or things i can do to help me? i have this stuff called ‘rescue’ and its a herbal remedy that is meant to help so i will take that tomorrow… omg HELP ME :L you all probably going to think im some kind of psyco…!

You know its really a head thing. You make yourself neverous thinking about all of the bad things they can be thinking about you when really, who cares what they are thinking? If you say something that is silly a good saying to remember is “those that matter don’t mind, and those that mind don’t matter”

a good trick that has always helped me is to make a joke. It really calms you down when everyone is luaghing when you want them to, it kinda reminds you that you have control and everything is going to be ok.

I would get nervous, sweaty palms, over analyzing…but once it’s done everything is always ok,,,,life goes on and you are never really going to do are say anything too bad so why worry about it.
