It may not be your breath it could be some residue on your tongue. Get a tongue scrapper (local grocery store or pharmacy). Then try using a mild mouth wash.

Question by Bobby: Bad breath from stomach, or from mouth?
I’ve been having a bad breath problem for awhile. I’ve recently just been using the mouth washes, thinking that was the problem. But even right after I brush my teeth, there is always an odd smell in my breath. I’ve read online that bad breath can be caused not only from the mouth and gums, but also from problems in the stomach. Which makes me wonder because I often have stomach problems, and my stomach hurts after I eat most times. But I am wondering how to go about with this problem….do I first go to a Dr’s and describe my problem? Telling them about my bad breath problem, and I’m not sure as to if it’s coming from my stomach or my mouth? Or do I see a dentist first as tell them this? Any help will be greatly appreciated !

Because you are smelling it already thru your nasal passage and have become acustom to it. You need to dig in thoes peridontal pockets and get out the gunk and floss and brush. So much comes from inpacted food and not flossing!

Just like using mints and gum to cover up bad breath, rinsing your mouth with a mouthwash or anything similar will also cover up bad breath. To kill the bacteria on your tongue that causes the bad breath you must use very strong antibacterial materials. Many of these will damage the tissues of your mouth. Rather than try to kill the bacteria on your tongue, the best way to get rid of it is to clean off the bacteria with a tongue cleaner. I use OraBrush tongue cleaner because it is both a soft brush with individual bristles and a scraper. OraBrush will remove the bacteria in the deep indentations of the tongue and cure bad breath up to 12 hours. So brush your teeth and clean your tongue. My dentist told me about OraBrush and my wife tells me I have fresh breath.
