I have bad breath as long as i can remember. It is really embarrassing. The dentist can’t find anything that can cause my bad breath.I have tonsil stones.I’ve searched about it, and saw videos on youtube people that have tonsil stones that are far worst than mine. And i think these tonsil stones cause my breath to stink really bad.I have yearly general check ups with the company doctor, and the results are ok.No disease what so ever.I’m 40 right now and i have been living like this for a very long time. Can anyone find me a real cure?Or the tonsil stone is the real culprit?

Best answer:

Answer by lkclark1458
We have a book on “Natural Home Remedies” I looked up bad breath, aka “Halitosis”. Everything in the book keeps going back to “Parsley”. Get some of this put in with your food & see what happens. Most of the restraunts use to put it on the side of your plates. I always thought it was to make the plate look pretty. But threw the years I have found that it helps with your breath. Fresh or dry put it in with your meal.

Question by Aoiffe337: How do denture wearers maintain a fresh breath considering that they have no teeth to cause bad breath?
Most commercials promote products to indicate that a toothpaste, chewing gum or mouth wash will create a fresh breath. Denture wearers do not have teeth to brush. There should be no more plaque or bad breath from gingivitis or other periodontal problems. Yet, some denture wearers still have bad breath in spite of gargling with mouthwash, brushing tongue and gum, using scented adhesive for the dentures. Are the advertisements just hypes to get consumers money? What really causes bad breath and do the advertised products really help to solve the problem?

Best answer:

Answer by A.R
The bad breath is due to bacterial byproduct and their wastes. they are naturally living in our mouth or GI tract (stomach and etc. where food travels). even though denture wearers don’t have teeth, they still have lots of bacteria in those places such as tongue or gums which can cause bad breath. people who don’t brush or clean their mouth regularly, or those with some sort of diseases such as diabetes, can have more bacterial growth and byproduct which causes bad breath as a result. any product that can help you to remove this byproducts and inhibit bacterial growth in your mouth to some extent can be helpful in this regard. best thing is to brush regularly.

Question by chingchang: H pylori? wierd symptoms!!!?
HI, Im 16 years old male ITs been a couple of months Ive been extremly fatigue. Worst in the mornings when i wake up. I wake up with body aches and joint soreness. I also experience nasuea, gas, burping, highblood pressure, bloating, heart burn sometimes, headaches, weight gain, sinus pain. I had a full blood test done everything was normal, a 24 hour urine test , everything was normal, i did a breath test and i got diagnosed with H pylori. Does H pylori Cause All the symptoms i listed above??? The doctor gave me the Hp pack for 10 days. I finished it and nothing changed. I got tested again and still positive. I feel like im dying, my symptoms are getting worse and worse. Specially after meals. I have anxiety of it being a brain tumor, or something worse. I used to go to the gym 6 times a week and work out. Now i barely have energy for school. Please help
Yes I have been tested for mono, but mono comes with fever, my test was negative.

Best answer:

Answer by steven h
Hpylori is the bacteria that causes ulcers. sounds like part of what you described could be attributed to it. But the rest of the symptoms could be anything from depression, to anxiety. But the sinus pain, is it especially after waking up?
Theres a big possibility here for the need for a sleep study for sleep apnea. Every symptom you mentioned can be directly attributed to that.
Also with the hpylori test, you do know you cant take any antacids or proton pump inhibitors like prevacid , prilosec, or even pepto bismol etc for 20 days prior to the test or it will register a false positive.

Question by arckieb: How to cure my halitosis (bad breath)?
Hi. I know this sounds nasty, but when I was little my parents never taught me to brush my teeth. My dad worked away and my mom was hell mom, she did not care at all. She then would ridicule me in a rude way for my “stinky breath”. I kind of then rebelled against her and not brushed on purpose. Pretty stupid on my side, but I was a kid.

Disgusting story – I know.

Well now I am an adult, and I guess I now have chronic bad breath. I do brush my teeth and try to clean them as much. It isn’t as bad, but every now and then I do notice people take notice.

I breathe a lot through my mouth and have post nasal drip so I guess that could be part of the problem.

I’ve read that drinking water is good, but then I’m afraid that drinking too much might cause issues in other parts of my body.

Should I try taking altoids to work? Can they harm my health? What about the sugar free ones?

I’ve been suggested gum, but doesn’t that mess your stomach because the brain thinks it’s chewing food?

I know I have a lot of stuff going on in my head in regards to side effects. I was wondering what would be a healthy way to tackle the problem or if my concerns above are even real.

I also heard that mouthwashes only worsen problem?

Should I force myself to breath through my nose?

I’ve been to the dentist, and to my surprise, my teeth are pretty healthy for the most part.

I know I should probably go to a doctor, but right now I’m going through so much in life, I can’t deal with the stress of a doctor visit (I know that sounds lame, but I’ve been going through a lot).

Just want home advice that could help.

Thanks.

Answer by Damon Salvatore
I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not, because there’s no such thing as drinking too much water, gum does not mess your stomach….
