Question by Angela: How to get rid of bad breath? Even after brushing, flossing, and mouthwash my breath is bad?
Well it stays fresh for a little while, then within 30 minutes the bad breath is back. A little boy even recoiled from me this morning and said, “Eeew!” Bless their hearts, little kids are so honest.

Question by didi: Bad breath after eating any kind of food?
Can anyone help. I brush my teeth very well in the morning and my breath is fine. But after eating any type of food, it starts smelling a couple of minutes after. Help what can I do? I feel it’s pushing men away from me. I have asked friends, my dentist if I have bad breathe and they said no but I still notice others covering their noses when I speak. HELP PLEASE.

Well I would say that going to your dentist is the first thing. It could be caused by gingivitis, or even digestion problems.
I eat a lot of onions and garlic, I just eat fresh parsley, which most of the time, takes care of the problem, and not to mention the nutrients in the parsley, calcium,vit. c, etc.

Question by sugarcookie: Can you have tonsil stones AFTER having your tonsils out? my daughter has yellow lumps that do not cough out.
My 12 yr old daughter had a tonsillectomy at the age of 6, so did my 21 yr old son. They both suffered with strep throat SEVERAL times from the age of 4 to 6. My son has had NO difficulties with his throat. BUT, I have taken my daughter to the dr. several times since, because of a sore throat and thought it was strep again, but it has never been. The dr. said it is what he calls ‘cobble stones’ He told me the ‘medical term’ but it went over my head. Anyway, I read about tonsil stones and was wondering if you could still get them after a tonsillectomy. She does NOT cough them out, but she has always had bad breath. Her throat is sore and she is a little hoarse, but has NO fever or any other symptoms. She sometimes has sinus headaches and has drainage and also swimmer’s ear. She has missed a lot of school due to her throat being so sore. I made her an appt. with an ENT dr. for after school is out this summer, because our family dr. never does anything.

that happened to me once i had mine taken out. i suggest going and getting a anti-biotic from a doctor. that what i had to do. although mine may be worse cuz mine were green where they used to be and i couldnt cought it either. i had the worst breath! hope this helps :)

Even an hour after brushing i get bad breath again, any ideas of the reasoning for this.
Thanks never thought of brushing my tounge hopefully it helps.

Good brushing habits, of course. Get a tongue brush, or just use your toothbrush (Will diminish quality of brush quicker than getting a special tongue brush) and wash your tongue (As much as you can get).

Chew on sugarless gum, suck on lozenges, drink plenty of water A moist mouth keeps the bacteria flora at bay.

I’ve also heard eat garlic or take garlic supplements to treat bad breath on a more internal level but, then you have to worry about garlic breath.

Ok i brush my teeth for 2 minutes and get a clean feel and then i mouthwash for like another 3 and spit it out….5 minutes later i get a nasty taste in my mouth and i know i got bad breath what can i do? Also how to stop thinking i smell bad even after i just sprayed myself with cologne and smell perfectly fine?

Is it normal for your breath to still smell bad after brushing? I use to be able to just brush my teeth and the bad breath would go away for the day. Then about a year or so ago it didn’t. I just have started brushing my tongue after my teeth and the bad breath goes away. My tongue looks like greenish when I wake up if that has anything to go with it plus I have year-round allergies. Anything I can do to prevent this daily bad breath?

Same here! I could brush my teeth for hours and my breath would still smell bad!!!! I actually brushed my teeth for one hour before and it didnt work!
