in home remedies for bad breath

I’ve been having bad breath for about a year, and many of my school friends are keeping their distance from me and refusing to let me take part in their conversations. This is leaving me really depressed. Please tell me some ways to fiz it, or to cure it permanently. PLease tell me what kind of a quick fix I can cook up while I’m eating out without being caught chweing on mint, gum, or carrying a toothpaste with me!

1. Get your teeth cleaned.
2. Fix any decayed teeth in your mouth.
3. BRUSH AND FLOSS DAILY!!!! One doesn’t really work without the other

Are you brushing your teeth after you eat? Or at least in the morning and at night? Are you brushing your tongue? Are you flossing every time you brush?

All these things will help improve your oral health. You can try using mouthwash after you eat, but maybe it’s because of the food that you are eating. Chewing on a mint after you eat isn’t so obvious so even though you don’t want to do that, I would suggest you get over your insecurity about it. Wouldn’t you rather be “caught” with gum or a mint in your mouth than have bad breath?

I would also suggest you talk to your dentist about it next time you see them because this could be a periodontal problem.

Ok bump all those ideas above. Brushing your teeth is a myth and mints are carcinogens. Here are several home remedies.

1. Lick anything wood in your house several times 7-10 then eat a carrot.

2. Tape two pennies on the outside of your cheek and leave them there. Certain chemicals in the copper will go through the skin and neutralize bad breath.

3. Only breath in through your mouth, then out through your nose.

First off go see a dentist to make sure you don’t have halitosis, which is chronic bad breath. You can use lemon juice because it neutralizes order.

get better tooothpaste and get those dissolving listerine strips for while youre out in public!
you just put them on your tongue and they dissolve and make your breath really fresh
but you need to be brushing at least twice a day (i brush after every meal and keep listerine in my purse)
scrub your tongue too!

Have you heard of tonsilliths–tonsil stones? They are a common cause of terribly bad breath. Check out this website that briefly explains them; it might help you out: http://www.tonsilstones.com/

First, the primary cause of bad breath is the bacteria on the top of your tongue which produce those bad smells. You can cover up bad breath by using a mint or chewing gum, however, these products do not get rid of bad breath because they do nothing about the bad breath. To cure bad breath you must clean your tongue. I use OraBrush tongue cleaner because it is designed to reach to the back of the tongue where the “white stuff” is. I have used it for 5 months and my dentist told me about it.

Simply eating a citrus fruit (after eating)that is high in citric acid (such as an orange, lemon, or grapefruit) can help improve your breath significantly. The acid in such fruits stimulates the saliva, which helps suppress some of the odor-causing bacteria. At the same time, the tangy taste of such fruits leaves the mouth smelling fresh.
