How to get rid of phlegm?

I have occasional bad breath which I am sure is because of the phlegm caught up in my throat. I just can’t get it out! Salt water gargle , toungue scraping , nothing! can get it out…. I really need to get rid of it and the bad breath. Im using listerine but it jus gives few hrs of clean breath.Then Im not sure if my breath is bad or not.I brush, floss etc. So its defintly not my teeth… help!

The best way to get rid of excess phlegm is to drink plenty of water. This breaks it up and flushes it out.

it’s possible that you have an infection and need antibiotics, sinus infections or an abscessed tooth either of these would make you have bad breath

Juice an onion and a lemon together and combine the juice with 1 cup of boiling water. Add raw honey to taste and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Drink the entire cup of juice in one sitting. Make this drink three times a day for 2 to 3 days to eliminate phlegm.
