How can you tell if bad breath is coming from either the stomach, tongue, teeth or gums?

My dentist says that my teeth and gums are fine, but my gums are a really dull colour and after i eat something sugary, i feel the plaque on my teeth.
I get bad breath all the time. even after brushing my teeth and tongue, flossing and using mouthwash.

This question has been answered by scientist at the School of Dental Medicine in New York. They showed that bad breath is caused by a bacteria (Solobacterium moorei) on the tongue. This bacteria looks white and can be seen on the back of the tongue. If you have a white tongue you have bad breath. Mints, gum, mouthwash, toothpaste will cover up bad breath for a short time. But to get rid of bad breath you must clean the tongue with a tongue cleaner. I use OraBrush tongue cleaner. There is also a way to smell your own bad breath.
