My male mini daschund is 5 months old and for the past week he has had majorly bad breath. I don’t know what has caused it. I was just wondering if there is anything that I could feed him or give him without taking him to the vet.

You should brush your dogs teeth with dog toothpaste (not human). There are dog treats that help too. Giving your dog hard treats and toys that are dog appropriate help keep his teeth clean and healthy and in turn, his breath fresh.

GOOD LUCK!
Has he started to lose his baby teeth yet? One may be going bad. If so, when it is gone the bad breath will go away. Brush his teeth on a regular basis – daily if possible and you won’t have the problems with adult teeth.
