How to battle bad breath?

No matter how much gum i chew or how many apples i eat, i still can’t get rid of it. any tips?

ps i don’t want to use mouthwash, heard it causes tongue cancer…

then you can go to the dentist and have them clean it up there is proabably a plage build up,

and guess what it is your tongue that makes it your mouth smell bad not your teeth

Bad Breath is a condition of having foul odor emitted by the mouth. It is an age-old dental condition and is considered as a social stigma to most people.
Symptoms of Bad Breath:
Unpleasant odor from the mouth is apparently the primary symptom for this condition. As most individuals are unaware of their breath’s odor, people’s opinion around will likely pinpoint it to you.
Causes of Bad Breath:
Gum diseases, tooth decays or cavities, bacteria stagnating on the unclean part of the tongue are some of the most common mouth-causes of bad breath.
Chronic illnesses such as bronchitis, bronchiectasis, gastritis and sinusitis upsets the nose, respiratory tract, stomach and the throat influences the outcome of the foul odor.
Frequent cases of bad breath are maybe the result of chronic constipation and gastro-intestinal disorders.
Home Remedies / Treatment for Bad Breath:
1.Fenugreek:
Mix 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in ½ liter of cold water. Simmer for 15 minutes on low flame. Strain and drink as a tea regularly.
2.Avocado:
The avocado treatment is much more effective than any commercially available products to treat halitosis. It eliminates intestinal toxins, which is one the primary cause of getting foul breath.
3.Guava:
Eating guava fruit will help stop gum bleeding and freshens the breath. Chewing its leaves are also equally effective. Guava contains mallic, oxalic, phosphoric and tannic acids, as well as calcium, manganese and oxalate.
4.Parsley:
Chop some parsley sprigs and boil it in 2 cups of water. Mix some 2-3 whole cloves or ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves. Stir while letting it cool. Strain then use as a mouthwash or gargle several times a day.
5.Raw juices:
Drink liberal amount of any fresh fruit and vegetable juices.
Diets Suggestion for Bad Breath:
Consume some grains, nuts, seeds, fruits and raw or uncooked vegetables.
Avoid white sugar and bread products and refined carbohydrate foods, as well as eggs and meat.
Follow all suggestions and diet recommendations when having constipation.
Brush your teeth 2 times a day especially before bedtime.
Use toothpicks to get rid of remaining food particles that cannot be cleaned or removed by tooth brushing alone.
Consult your family dentist when having tooth decays and bleeding/swollen gums.
Eat some fresh apple or guava after lunch or any meal to get rid of the remaining food particles in the mouth.
Margosa (or neem) tree twigs can also be used as a toothbrush substitute.

since bad breath can be caused by different factors, you should be able to know first what is the underlying cause of your bad breath. note that bad breath treatments can depend on what is the cause of it.

Gargle a cup of lukewarm water mixed with salt or half a lemon juice.This is best done before going to bed. Chew parsley leaves,which are sure to keep your breath fresh.
