Well, I drink about 1 gallon of water per day. I brush my teeth 3-4 times a day and gargle with mouth wash. And I still have some bad breath. This causes me to chew gum constantly. It seems like I have phlegm in the back of my throat and when I clear it out it always comes back. I seem to always have a bad taste in my mouth, roof of my mouth to be exact.
It is very embarrassing and I do not like talking to people up close because of this. How can I permanently get rid of the phlegm and my bad breath?

I wish I could help – I have the same problem. My husband won’t kiss me!
you need to brush at least 10 times per day
you should go to the dentist or doctor and have them check it out
Do you scrape your tongue? If not, then that’s the problem. If so, do you floss your teeth? Sometimes plaque gets stuck between teeth that cause bad breath.
For scraping your tongue, you could buy a tongue cleaner and just scrape it. I know you will ‘gag’ but try to close your throat then scrape quickly.
Well there are a few things you can do…
You can change your diet, to include mostly greens and fruits and vegetables.
You can chew on certain mint plants, these are odor neutralizing.
But there is a good chance that your breath is not as bad as you believe it is. Halitosis is a common medical complaint, however a majority of the time the only one who notices it is the patient.
Unless someone has actually told you that you have bad breath, (I suggest asking a close friend or family member) try not to worry about it so much
Same here.
Gargle a cup of lukewarm water mixed with salt or half a lemon juice. This is best done before going to bed. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. Put a few drops of tea tree oil on your toothbrush top it with toothpaste, and then brush your teeth. More useful remedies at http://useinfo5.blogspot.com/
to know how to get rid of it is to be able to know first the cause of it. after determining the cause of your bad breath, you can seek appropriate treatments for your bad breath. know that bad breath is caused by so many factors like like lack of oral hygiene, dirty mouth, eating a garlicky meal, dry mouth, medications, smoking, gum disease and stomach related problems.

if all commonsense measures did not work to stop bad breath, it is best that you talk to you dentist. bad breath does not only limit its cause in the mouth like gum disease or the lack of poor oral care. sometimes it can be caused by stomach related problems. better ask the help of a dental expert to determine the underlying cause of bad breath and get some recommended treatments. visit http://www.oramd.co.uk for more bad breath eliminating tips.
