in home remedies for bad breath

I been having breathing problems for a while now. I think tonight though is my first real asthma attack. Its not so bad that I can’t breath I just feel a little short of breath. Is there anything to stop a asthma attack besides medication? I am going to the doctor on friday . I don’t want to have to go to the ER I cant afford the medicine they would prescribe anyway no insurance any suggestions? Thanks
I have never had one before so I have no medicine for it. I am coughing alot short of breath and my chest is kinda tight. My mom has asthma real bad so I am almost postive its an attack. I really don’t want to go to the ER if I don’t have to.

well this might not be the best answer but oh well..

truthfully i dont think there is a home remedy for an asthma attack :/

just keep taking your medication and listen to the doctor.
oh,and stay calm, dont be stressed out too much.

just relax, and if you do have an asthma attack its best you get to a hospital soon

The steam from a hot shower may loosen things up, or a pan of boiling water…but if it gets any worse…get the dr. You can make payments on a bill, you can’t put a price on your health. Good luck hon.

Dear Friend,

Iam suffering from asthma and I have tried a lot of things including alternative medicines. Sadly nothing works.

Only inhalers give me a relief. Whenever you have asthma or breathing trouble, immediately take Ventolin inhaler.

Also continously take Seretide inhale twice daily even if you do not have symptoms.

But most important, consult an expert Doctor and the above mentioned medicines should be taken on his advice ONLY.

Wish you all the best and may God CURE you.

for asthma ATTACKS, there is no “home remedy”, unless you consider an inhaler or nebulizer a home rememdy since thats where you use it. but if you’re looking for somethin where you don’t need medicine, definitely use the hot shower method. be sure to put a towel under the door, it makes the room fill with steam faster. sit there until you can breathe again, for me it used to take about 10 minutes. good luck.

for an acute asthma attack, strong coffee can help, caffene acts to dilate the breathing passages so you can move air effectively. However, no home remedy can take the place of a medical diagnosis, you should see a doctor as quickly as possible because a small asthma attack can become vey serious quickly. A lot of hospitals stock samples of commonly prescribed medicines and can help you find programs either in your community or through drug companies to help you pay for your meds. Please don’t neglect yourself because you can’t afford medical care , be up front with the doctor and tell them that you can’t afford the meds and you need samples and to be set up on a indigent program to help pay for your bill and meds.
