How To Get Rid Of The White Coating On Your Tongue

If you’ve got a white coating on your tongue, what you’re seeing is the whole bad breath process in action – the bacteria and the mucus and the proteins and the VSCs… the white coating is all of them combined!
Don’t try to scrape it off with your tongue scraper. It won’t go anywhere, even if you scrape until your tongue bleeds. It will, however, gradually disappear as you use all the recommendations outlined in this report.
Of course, depending on how ‘white’ the white coating actually is, this might take a while. If your problem has been chronic for many years, there might even be some white-colored staining of the tongue itself, caused by the long-term presence of sulfuric material; that may take a very long time to disappear. (In some instances, the tongue may be permanently stained. But this is very rare and only happens in a tiny percentage of cases.)
As mentioned above, scraping the tongue is not a cure in itself. What you are actually doing – apart from scraping away any larger debris – is removing a lot of the mucus layers that insulate the oxygen-hating bacteria from the oxygen present in your mouth. This, by itself, significantly reduces their population but it’s still not enough.
Once you’re done scraping, you’re ready to really get down to business…
