hi.. i have this chronic halitosis problem since i can remember
i have a good set of teeth, brush my mouth really well etc still this embarrassing condition sticks and ruining my confidence and social life..

i am not really sure if there is a true, genuine cure out there.

i was looking all over the net.. and found this site breathcure.com and one dr. anthony dailley who claims to treat halitosis with 98% success rate. he offers a full treatment at his clinic in california.. for those who cant visit, he also have a treatment kit that he said would work.

basically what i did was order the kit online..basically, the kit is a tongue cleaner, a mouthrinse n toothpase. the products name is trioral.. i thought it worked initially but over time, i same effy condition came back…now im wondering if any of u chanced by this site and/or visited dr dailley in person and was cured successfully? i hope this is all true

please share..i am hoping to get cured 1 day and live a normal life.. t/
i have tried therabrath (product featured in that blog) before and it didn’t work for me.

i have a really bad condition. i have read about his alot of times, and i am aware how these supposed “good” bacteria in the mouth produce sulfur compounds to break down proteins and you know that rap.

i am tired of these products claiming to cure bad breath when they dont..

hopefully anyone who personally visited dr dailley shares some input in this thread..

Have you tried amplex tablets – these deoderise the products in the gut thus freshening the breath and are also used by people with colostomy bags.

I could really kick myself right now. I just left the doctor’s office and got so lost in the conversation about my other health problems that I didn’t even ask the doctor if I have oral thrush and if she could prescribe something for it. I’m pretty sure I have it – though I don’t have the milky lesions, just a white coating on the tongue that won’t go away and a horrible metallic taste accompanied by bad breath. it just started a few days ago right before the onset of nausea, migraines and chills. The doc thinks a sinus infection is the culprit of the other symptoms. Anyhoo, the taste is so bad that I can’t stand to drink water and my breath is just awful. I need to know what I can do to help this go away, if anything (besides taking probiotics and eating unsweetened yogurt). I’m already taking probiotics even though I haven’t taken them regularly in about a week. Hmm, I wonder if getting off track with the probiotics caused the thrush? Any insight on this would be really helpful and I’ll be forever thankful!

If you have TRUE thrush, yogurt should help. The bacteria in yogurt helps fight the overcrowding of the bacteria that causes thrush. But you have to make sure that you buy a yogurt that says “live cultures” on the container. (Yoplait or dannon) Try doing that, that’s usually what doctors will tell you to do as well. If this doesn’t help, then you probably don’t have thrush and you should consult a doctor.

When I swallow my saliva, I always breathe out of my nose afterwards and it would smell funky. I know its weird that I can smell my own nose but the the funky smell would stay in the air for awhile too. Also, when I was at the movies with my friends, they would say I stink even when I didn’t talk or anything. This also happens when I chew gum because chewing gum produces more saliva, and swallowing saliva causes bad nose breath. Any tips on how to fix this?
And no, I don’t have body odor

Try to rinse with salt water every night after you’re done brushing and flossing……..that will kill the bad germs that cause the bad odor…

Please help! Today I just discovered that I have Tonsil Stones for sure. I’ve been reading on the internet and apparently they’ve been known to cause bad breath in 75% of patients. I’ve had this for about 3 years now, and I didn’t use to brush my tongue and now this is the consequence! I bought an orabrush like 8 days ago, and have been using it to brush my tongue. And I brush my teeth well.. But the thing is, I have braces, so I think that that’s contributing aswell! But the bad breath is coming from the back of my throat.. Do you have any home remedies that could help?

If what you have is “Thrush”. Here is the remedy I found:

Mix
1/2 Teaspoon of cherry flavor Milk of Magnesia and
1/2 Teaspoon of Benedryl together.
Gargle 4 times a day. Don’t swallow the mixture.
In addition : take pro-biotic one capsule a day
It should heal in 2-3 days

My mum puts heavy, heavy amounts of onions and garlic in my dinner each day. She puts about a cup of blended onions and blocks and blocks of frozen garlic into whatever she is cooking.

Do you think this is having an impact on my breath? Could a diet like this be the reason why i get constant bad breath? Even after i floss, brush, use mouthwash, brush my tongue..i still get really bad breath?

I find myself to have a strong, unpleasant taste in my mouth throughout the day (not only after eating acidic foods or waking up in the morning). I brush regularly and even after scraping the back of my tongue, I still detect a hint of the unpleasant taste. I chew gum to alleviate the problem for the moment but after the gum loses flavor and I spit it out, the bad breath kicks in again. Also, I drink water/liquids regularly as well; it helps for about a minute..

Any suggestions as to what I can do? Are there any foods that I can eat to help?

i’ve tried drinking 2 litres of water but i only did that for a few days how long do i have to keep drinking for or are there any better remedies.

btw i’m not allowed gum at school so that’s not an option and i don’t want to use those fresh breath sprays as you get addicted.
